This is a sign of a premium shower filter and is the UPAC™ (Ultra Porous Activated Carbon) flushing out during the first 10-15 seconds of use with your filter capsule. This is a normal part of the activation process and is noted on the card inside your box.
UPAC™ (Ultra Porous Activated Carbon) is a high performance filtration media used to absorb chlorine and other contaminants.
Simply run the shower for about 15-30 seconds to flush the filter, until the water runs clear and the filtration media becomes fully saturated with water. This will only occur with the first use of the filter capsule.
Quick fix:
• Turn the shower on and let it run for 15–30 seconds
• Allow the water to flush through the filter
• The water will quickly run clear
