The Simple 3.5 cm Rule

Check the distance between your wall outlet and your shower hose or shower head:

• 3.5 cm or more → the filter screws on directly, no adapter needed 
• Less than 3.5 cm → a small swivel adapter may help, usually only necessary when installing against a wall. The adapter allows the filter to angle slightly, giving enough space to tighten the connection properly.
